About the Event

MombasaWorks and Africa Management Institute have partered to host this exciting panel and information session themed around ‘Transition’.

The theme is relevant to businesses who transition into new geographies and markets, which is often the case in Mombasa. But 'transition' is a particularly relevant discussion in light of COVID19 and the changes entrepreneurs (and their businesses) have had to undertake in order to survive the economic downturn brought on by the pandemic. Least among these changes include how and where we work (i.e. WFH culture); how we reach our customers (i.e. proliferation of e-commerce, digital marketing and social influencers); and the size and structure of teams (i.e. more part-time, more outsourcing etc.) amongst others.

We're delighted to have two Mombasa-based entrepreneurs on the panel to discuss how transition has applied to them in the past 12-18 months: Dr Paul Mangois and Nzisa Musyoki. Paul is an AMI Survive to Thrive alumni and the Founder of Amra Herbal Clinic. Nzisa is the CEO of Kufamba Africa, a boutique travel agency.

The information session will focus on AMI's Survive to Thrive programme, a Pan-African practical business growth programme focused on equipping business leaders with the tools to immediately address challenges and seize on opportunities. AMI are now offering full scholarships for a limited time so join the conversation and find out more!
